Cursor Málaga

I lead Cursor Málaga: planning and hosting developer events, organising the experience in the room, and helping people build together. Meetups, Café Cursor, and Build Nights each need a different format. I also build the production tools and design the materials that support them.

2025-2026

Community lead and event organiser

Build Night Málaga, with participants and organizers at the close of the event.

Plan around how people take part

A meetup centres on talks and demos; Café Cursor gives people a smaller setting for code and direct help; Build Night asks teams to work on a shared brief. I plan and host these formats, coordinating registration, the agenda, and the flow of the room. The materials follow those decisions.

Make last-minute changes manageable

Guest lists and award winners change close to the event. I built generators that turn event and attendee data into print-ready badges, briefs, and diplomas. Bilingual instructions, numbered tokens, and QR codes support the event on the day; the generators remove repeated layout work.

Events and community

I plan and host formats that give developers different ways to take part: talks and demos at a meetup, direct help at Café Cursor, and a shared challenge at Build Night.

Community meetups

Talks, demos, and the conversations that continued after the agenda.

Café Cursor

A smaller working session built around coffee, code, and direct help.

Build Night

Teams worked against a shared brief and finished with awards and a live leaderboard.

Tools that support the event

Each format needed its own kit of parts. Event data fed small generators that produced material ready for local printing, cutting, and last-minute changes.

Build Night

A folded bilingual brief carried the challenge, team code, and referral credit. Generated badges and diplomas handled the changing guest list and winners.

Café Cursor

The menu translated Cursor's terminal language into the venue. Numbered drink and snack tokens managed service, while printed credits gave attendees something useful to take home.
